Lake Wakasatoko (Okawa Dam)

This dam lake was named "Wakasatoko", with one Chinese character from Aizuwakamatsu City (waka) and Shimosato-machi (sato). The parks have been developed at the both sides of the dam and its surroundings with spacious parking lots. Also developed were tennis courts, the grass square and the limpid stream areas that attract large crowd for outdoor activities including picnic. The Okawa Dam Museum shows the purpose of this dam in simple and easy manner.
